Today I’m wearing Dzing, for the third time in our personal history together. I want to love Dzing: it’s got all the right notes, a great idea behind it, and I love the house it’s out of. What’s the problem, you ask?
No problem, per se, it’s just too tame. I really wanted a walk on the wild side. I heard that it was horsey (my favorite smell in the multi-verse is sweaty horse), I heard that it had an animalic growl, but this kitty has had her claws trimmed. Maybe I’m anosmic, maybe my skin just mellows the fragrance, or maybe I just need to spend some more time with it.
I get just the tiniest cumin-y hum, and yes, there’s leather, but it’s so subtle and refined!
It’s the circus from an observer’s perspective. I guess I was hoping for something a little closer to the third ring.
