L’Artisan Parfumeur, Nuit de Tubéreuse

(originally posted back in May)

Read about it here and here.

I’m excited about this fragrance in a way I can’t deftly articulate. As I’ve said elsewhere, pertaining to NdT, I feel the nervous excitement of a new crush.

You think you like him (he’s so dreamy), you don’t know if he likes you; you hyper-analyze and re-hash every encounter a thousand times over in your mind… this is me and perfumer Bertrand Duchaufour. His last two creations, Havana Vanille and Al Oudh (both also for L’Artisan Parfumeur) so completely knocked my socks off that I’m in what can be best described as an agitated twitter about this new launch.

Normally, a Tuberose fragrance would not excite my nasal membranes… but this one is going to be different. This is going to make me forget what a Tuberose is supposed to be.
It could be The One.

I’ll post a review after I smell it—it shouldn’t be long now!
