I think that I’ve noted at some point that the Sonoma Scent Studio perfumes have common elements enough that they layer nicely. Or at least that if you put one on in the morning, and another one in the afternoon, you still smell delicious in the evening. For example, I’ve found that Champagne de Bois works well with Rose Musc (or Taba Aurea). Rose Musc works well with Incence Pure, or Winter Woods, or Tabac Aurea.
What doesn’t work, I’ve just discovered, is Lieu de Reves with Winter Woods.
For some reason, heliotrope mixed with “ambered woods” smells like smoked sausage. While I am fond of smoked sausage, it was not what I was looking for in a sleep scent this evening.
Lesson learned.
