Katie Puckrik recently did a video “Holiday Fragrance Gift Picks,” in which she recommended perfume gifts for the various people in your life: mom, dad, bff, bf, etc. It’s no secret that I love Katie Puckrick (the DH does too), and I loved her high/low method of suggesting gift-perfumes.

Price range is something to consider when you’ve got several people to buy for… as I’ve recently discovered. I got my mom a pile of decants, and she’s getting a full-bottle of something new too—which I won’t mention here, since she’s one of my five readers. My second reader, my dear mother-in-law, is also getting a new bottle of perfume (which for the same reasons I won’t disclose until later).

I can see how that doesn’t sound like it would cost a lot of money, but that’s just because you don’t understand my method of perfume shopping. It goes like this:

One for mother, one for me (Prada L’Eau Ambree).
One for mother-in-law, one for me (Annick Goutal Ambre Fetiche).
One for me (Dior Mitzah), one for me (stack of samples from Luckyscent).

The preceding statements could leave readers thinking that I have zero self-control, which is not true: I’ve given up cake. The holiday season is one of all-around indulgence. How does a gal not indulge in her most favorite thing of all?
