Bi-Mart is fun! While I was shopping for dog treats over the weekend, I picked up a few new lip glosses, because I love lip gloss and balm almost as much as I love perfume. I have a cabinet full of balms/glosses precisely because you need to have just the right one for every occasion, and it’s been a while since I found one that I really like.

I snagged L’Oreal Infallible in the Truffle shade on a whim; it was the darkest shade in stock (Bi-Mart, ‘member?), and in general I like L’Oreal lip products. This gloss does not last the six hours it claims, but who cares? I don’t mind re-applying, and I’m not one for licking my lips, or rubbing them together much, so glosses fare well in general.

The husband says it’s sticky, but he says that about all lip gloss. The color is sheer but true, and it doesn’t bleed into the fine lines around my kisser. It’s moisturizing, and imparts a “my lips but better” vibe. The applicator is stellar—it’s this little doe-footed thing that is big, soft, and smooth. One dip pulls out just the right amount to coat my full lips.

Final verdict: I wouldn’t mind grabbing a few more—Walgreens is having a buy one, get one 50% off this week, so now’s the time to stock up.
