Sometimes, the Scent of The Day is picked for me. No matter how careful I am, once I start decanting, it is inevitable that I become covered in whatever it is I happen to be spritzing or pipetting. Today I decanted the 1967 versions of Shalimar parfum, EDT, and EDC, along with the ’67 EDT of L’Heure Bleue. Given that these vintage editions are especially tenacious, I smell both interesting and delicious, and probably will continue to do so for another 12 hours or so.
And yes, this counts as a bragging post 🙂
Photo is mine.
Oh, how wonderful! I am giddy with anticipation! And I love the picture, a sneek peek into your perfume cupboard. Very interesting!
I look so forward to trying your vintage samples, yippie!
I can’t wait to hear how you like them! I sent some Tendre Madeleine too, because I’m crazy for using it as a layering scent, and am convinced that everyone else should too 😉
Today I added a layer of Ode a la Vanille to the rest (three generous spritzes) and am feeling a little more generous about it. Proabably I’ll fall totally in love with it when my 20mL is gone!
