(I know the term ‘fumies offends some people, but it’s meant in a spirit of fun 😉 )
Hopefully my fellow perfumistas were not disappointed with whatever fragrant treats were found under the tree, and are safely home, feverishly anticipating what to spend those gift-cards on… I know I am!
My mom had a good haul in perfume-land; of the fragrances I sent her, she’s already tried and fallen for the Hervé Léger. She’s excitedly informed me that, including decants and samples, she now possesses 48 perfumes! Remember, her Perfume House epiphany adventure was only five months ago…
Although I didn’t get any other fragrant gifts for christmas (let’s not forget my early opened gift of JHAG Citizen Queen), I saw this morning that I’m one of two lucky winners of Victoria’s Le Labo draw over at Bois de Jasmin; I won Poivre 23! The notes for this fragrance sound like a greatest-hits list of all my favorites, and I’m really looking forward to wearing and reviewing the posh London exclusive.
What did you get for Christmas?
Merry Christmas!
No gift cards here. In fact, ’twas a modedt Christmas though I did get the bottle of Donna Karan Cashmere Mist Liquid Nude that I asked for! Now I’m waiting for a bottle of Annick Goutal Ambtr Fetiche that I bought for myself! 😉
Why do people take offense to ‘fumies? I think it’s cute.
Hi Jen, Merry Christmas to you!
Congratulations on your new bottle of Liquid Nude! I haven’t smelled that one yet, but it is on my “to sniff” list. Do you also wear the original? If so, which one do you like better?
Ambre Fetiche is a true pleasure… in fact, I think I might wear it today as I sit down to read Angela’s post about fragrances to wear in the snow!
Best 🙂

p.s. I think “fumies” is cute too!
